BA nuts and bolts bulk purchase
« Thread Started on Apr 2, 2011, 11:49am »

Afternoon all,
I was wondering anyone could point me in the direction of where I could by largish quantities of BA hex bolts/set screws in particular 5 and 7BA. I seem to be forever buying packs of 25 and was wondering if anywhere sold them in packs of 100 or larger (I still have a few years of engineering left!!). I can find the nuts sold in larger packs but not the set screws.
Regards,
Dave

Dave,

Have you looked at EKP Supplies? They sell in quantity and you can order on line now. I've always had good service from them. I think a lot of the other ME suppliers probably get their stock from them.

I've just tried the link but their site seems to be busy at the moment!

John

Another vote for EKP, they sell in 10, 50 and 100 packs or will do whatever larger quantity you need.

Hi Dave,

I use the firm below, very good service and fair prices. They deal in 100's for most fixings. Give Mike Sandiford a ring and ask for a catalogue. As far as I know there's no website, just the e-mail.

Items Mail Order Ltd., 46 St. Martins Road, North Leverton, Retford, Notts. DN22 0AU

01427 848 880

Email: items@btinternet.com

No connection, just a satisfied customer!

Waggy.

I have used both EKP and items for BA screws and stuff. Both similar prices, you need to check their lists. Items stuff is almost always delivered to me next day and EKP is usually next day.Items have a larger range

I think they may be something to do with Deacon engineering , right location , I have bought 10 and 12 BA steel hex screws and nuts from the latter at a good price , very good quality fully machined product , return post service so no complaints from me.
They deal in 100's or 1000's ( not 100's & 1000's , that's the cake shop )
Dan.

Interesting. Just a shame about their advertising. I will have to recheck their website and see what more i can find out. Will have to be good as i have never been let down by the others.

Internet site has a phone number and an email address. Both work. Now encouraged to place a small bulk order if the price is right.
