Hello Everyone,

Just to let you all know that there will be a second Great Duchess Gathering at the Nottingham Model Engineering Society club in Ruddington on Saturday June 2nd.
last years event was an amazing day and this years promises to be even better. I taking my Duchess and my friend is bringing his 7 1/4" Duchess of Sutherland. The first time both the 5 inch and 7 1/4" will be in steam together. I hope to see some of you there.

Just wanted to second the comments about last year. As a member at Nottingham I'm slightly biased but it was a wonderful sight to see so many Duchesses both in the steaming bay and out on the track. And we got a good write up with photo in Heritage Railway magazine. The date on my calendar says 16 June so not sure which is right at the moment.

Confirm date is 2nd June. Will be good to get the 7 1/4 gauge models along this time.

Date on the club events programme sent with Club mag says 16th June??, Web page lists 2010 dates!!.

I see someone has updated part of the Nottingham web site, at least with 2012 meetings and events. However, it confirms 16 June as the Duchess gathering.

I have spoken to Nick from Nottingham and he confirms that the date is the 2nd June and not the 16th.

And I also gather that Nottingham have stepped in and taken on IMLEC this year well done Nottingham
A bit far for me to travel from the west country but hope to see a write up in ME about the gathering.
