Hi It shouldn't be a problem just multiply everything by 1.45 ,I did that on my NSW Z 13 class and worked OK . All you need is wheels ,may be some other engine wheel will match ,inside cylinders can be fabricated , chimney and dome should not be that hard to manage . It is a small engine ,will be great in 7.25 .

Shawki, Have you an opinion on the Reeves drawings so far as faithfulness to the prototype? This is not a great concern as I don't plan to make it a dishware winner (we don't award dishware over here) but as long as I'm going to the trouble I might as well do it right. I would actually build to 7.5" gauge and the growing trend over here is to build to 1.6" scale so as to be proportionately correct for 7.5" gauge.

Hi Harry The plans in general are OK but like all plans that I have seen do have mistakes and short coming .For example the boiler don't have a blow down and one can only fit it at the back and here it could foul the rear axle ,so some modification is required if blow down is to be fitted .( I moved the axle back by 1/2" and increased the frame length by 1/4" and increased the couping rods by 1/2" ) .Valve gear works but everything is size for size ,one need clearances to make things work !!! . Also there are rocker arms which makes everything in reverse .My point is read the plans carefully and decide what changes you want to make before cutting metal . Good luck .Sorry to reply late ,I was at the convention and away from the computer for 8 days .
