I often use my mobile phone to access this website, yesterday when I came to the site I automatically got redirected to a page with popup that wanted to do something with the Android system, needless to say I immediately closed the browser, the same is happening today. Has any one else had this issue? If so I guess there is an issue with the forum. It all seems ok when accessing from my PC, and from my phone I don't have an issue with any other websites.

I've just checked and I've got the message as follows...
The page at update.sztdy.com says:
Tip: not neough memory, too much junk files, seriously affect the speed of the phone!
With a box to click ok on...
I won't be clicking on that either. It looks like there's a redirect going on there. Maybe the site administrators can take a look at it?
Ok, this looks nasty. Just trying to exit and get back to the browser causes a visit to the PlayStore and cancelling just starts an unwanted download. I tuned off the phone part way through the download and disabled WiFi when it was turned back on. I have no idea how to deal with this really.

Thanks for confirming that Roger, certainly one for the administrators as 2 independent people see the issue.

It definitely started downloading something and I think I may have turned it off soon enough but I'm not sure. I should have disabled the WiFi but I wasn't thinking quickly enough. I've looked in My Files and deleted a .bin file from the SD card downloads but I don't know if that's related to this.
If you go back to the browser and quickly click on the little square in the corner where it tells you the number of browser pages before it loads, you can kill that page. Then the browser works as expected but I won't be using the mobile site until it gets the all clear.
It looks to me like an aggressively promoted piece of software, the fact that it takes you to PlayStore tries to make it look legitimate. PlayStore need to be warned about this and that product removed from there. Maybe someone can jot down what this is called. Don't press Cancel on the download, it downloads it anyway! Just hold down the button at the bottom of the phone and close the application in the running programs window.

I can only say that I dont have a problem with the site on a normal computer so it must be something to do with the android part, and that is then beyond me.
I'll ask around and see if I can find anything out.

On my business site, the software generates two separate entities, one for PCs and another more compact version for mobile use. I suspect it's the mobile one that's been infected if this is done the same. It may be a general ProBoards issue, perhaps it can be raised with them?

I'm reading this thread on Android with no issues. Perhaps the issue has been resolved?

I think this has been resolved, I can use the app without that issue now. I think it was probably the ProBoards site that was targeted and they've sorted it out.
