I use white Inkjet decal paper from Bel Inc in Miami. The artwork is in water soluble Inkjet Ink so requires a sealing coat of clear lacquer to protect and water proof it. Art work on the Henry Heaven po wagon was done on my inkjet printer as one large transfer that included the brown background. Similar colour matching was done for the yellow background to the 401 on the rail motor. Personally I've found the white decal paper very handy in creating all sorts of artwork needed in our hobby including I should have added, the brown 'whiskers' lining on the rail motor.

...... It will be interesting to see what you get on the next iteration. Haa! I've had enough for now :-) maybe some dials in one of the next loco builds that are supposedly in progress. I do like the suggestion that the slight yellowing makes them more prototypical.... Norm

Hi Norm,
And you can always take joy from the fact that one day, at an exhibition or club, someone might say that the slight yellowing doesn't look correct. Then you can ask them how many pressure gauges THEY have made??!!
All best Chris.
