Hello all,
I belong to a club on the south coast. The club looks after a 3 1/2 inch Maisie which has a horizontal (believed to be a John Cashmore) injector.
This has unfortunately developed a burr on the steam cone which has made the injector fairly ineffectual, although good for watering the grass!
I have been looking around for an alternative replacement. I see that Cashmore injectors are no longer available.
Could anyone suggest an alternative that would fit? I am uncertain what the correct diameter pipe, thread and poundage I should be looking for. I am fairly new to the actual engineering side of model engineering, despite driving loco's since the age of 12.
Thank you for any assistance

Reeves 2000 sell reliablle injectors, though a tad on the dear side, each injector is individually engraved with a number, and comes with a test certificate stating max and min pressure and drop off pressure. For Masie a 18 oz injector should be adequate, this size usually uses 3/16" pipework thin walled if possible.
( I have no vested intrest in Reeves, other than being happy with the injectors they have supplied me )

Thank you Digger, I shall have a look at Reeves. I was looking at Poly and Maxitracks.

Your other option is to ask Derek Brown if he will look at it.
