Hello all---------- Plus}--you can also feel the loco start to "kick-back" if you wind it up too far, too soon...........I usually try to reach the "Point of change-over" as soon as is practical...then run with full regulator and vary the cut-off according to need...This keeps the chest pressure at max. and ensures economical working---------It also gives non-balanced slide valves a hard time......Of course each time you slow down or stop then you repeat the process all over again....
