Notice on ebay the other day a set of three 'rolling roads' kept an eye on the and they went for about 80gbp, nice work i you can get it metinks.
Anyway having been bollocked by my lad for saying i would make my own and wate more time not on the engine, i went ahead. and gues what, they work!!, and grandson is v happy just rotating the driving wheel
as regards cost i got a dozen 30mm bearings off ebay for about 12.00, and some 1.25 x 3.16 bms 6 pieces. and some number of 30mm angle. ( made a small mistake and should have gone for 1.5 or even 1.75., plus 6 lengths of 9/16 round. total cost about 30.00 and a couple of hours work. pics will follow in a few days along with the other Heath Robinson? roland Emmett bits i have knocked up
