Hi all, I have recently started using Fusion 360 and been struggling with the basics. Yesterday I happened across "Learn Fusion 360 or Die Trying" on YouTube and what a breath of fresh air, he starts right back at the basics assuming you know nothing and I have learnt more in 6 hours than I had in a week. Anybody starting out with Fusion 360 should give this a watch for an hour or so.

Welcome to the F360 world. I use F360 for my hobby and professional work and it is a powerful and low cost CAD/CAM system for the kind of work we do (great unless you are building F1 cars or taking on Airbus and designing aircraft - if that's your gig, you are already using Catia). For a beginner, all 3D systems are a challenge. Youtube and the forums are a great help (I'm sure you have come across forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360/ct-p/1234 ) Also, the Autodesk University is a great source of structured tutorials (OK, a grandiose name for an online system, but it is run by the company and has a lot of well organized info): www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/class/101-Fusion-360-Tips-and-Tricks-2018Also, quite a few MECH members are F360 users too. Feel free to ask for help!
