To be honest, I'm not sure why you need an App or tables for 'O' ring selection. All they're doing is a trivial calculation based on the compression of the 'O' ring section which is probably going to be 15% for static and 10% for dynamic applications. All you need is that figure and to choose the nearest ID exactly the same or slightly less than the inside diameter. That really is all there is to it!

You are most likely right though. As Pete has shown it gives you widths / depths of grooves which, for me at least, was a hit & miss affair so the app helps out & hopefully avoids another part in the scrapbin! ( although the elves might get a bit upset as they will miss out on shinny things)
