Hi Ross Thank's for posting this link, I did take a quick look the day you posted but have only just been able to watch it in full. A great video and story with some interesting aspects to it. I do wonder though if the narrater is getting all the facts right about the regulator. From the official timings that I have read these loco's were driven on full regulator with the reverser controlling the speed. I believe that this was normal practice so his comments about the regulator position don't quite add up for me. Even so it's a very good video with some great footage of the Silver Link service which I haven't seen before... Pete

this is from "Mark's Home Engineering". He is building a Don Young Hunslet in 5" Gauge. His Videos are all very well organized as he starts the Video's Title with "Part x ..." so that the list of Videos is in proper Sequence. I'm up to Part 4. At 5:30 in Part 4 he is centering the Axle Boxes in the 4-Jaw Chuck. A classic opportunity to use Double Sided Scotch Tape to keep the Packing Pieces from falling out of position. youtu.be/-hRJP4whHr8
