I have a little micro security camera that monitors my front door, could be a workshop, that emails me pictures of any visitors. For ages from first installation it was just wedged in place using accumulated red wax from Baby Bell cheeses. Actually a useful source of red wax.
Following routine browsing for bits it occurred to me that a coolant goose neck thingy would offer an improvement both with easy repositioning and it would be less likely to fall off on a hot day. Yes, its been hot and clearly needed a bit more love.
These things are around a fiver, less if you shop around and a lot cheaper than the usual goose neck things.

It's always surprising to me what useful items there are available for other hobbies. Small stainless steel fittings e.g. small shackles and chains for real boats, flexible couplings or bowden cables and universal joints for model boats to name but a few.

Yes. I've made up a scale bowden cable assy to operate the whistle, on my 9F, using micro tube and miniature bowden cable for model boats. Works a treat!!
