Does anyone have drawings for a steam whistle suitable for a 5" gauge loco or failing that a supplier who doesn't charge the earth?? The one fitted at the moment sounds more like a penny whistle on a bad day! Thanks

If you are still looking for info on a steam whistle let me know. I had an article given to me that may be of use - I'll look it up.

scoobiesdo, it you whistle adjustable ?
My was pretty sick, but just need some undoing of a lock nut, rotating and change some clearances, testing, once happy tightened it all back up and all sounds crisp now.

They make some nice electronic ones for proper toy trains - HO gauge etc - sound quite good on a plywood layout - maybe with a B&O amplifier, it would sound like the real thing.

P.S.For B&O amplifiers, contact Sir Clip
