just noticed that a prairie loco is on ebay. same old dealer. Solid cylinders. someone did some metal bashing. saved a lot of cash though. Done one,-- never again. Worth a look for interest

Did anybody see the castings and bits including cylinders for sale on ebay. It was advertised as £900 worth of stuff (at reeves prices)

Building one is bad enough, but paying £250.00 for some cylinders worth £520.00 now theres a bargain, but why does the bidding have to end at a strange time in the morning. bridge-art-gallery my e-bay bit. David.

They went fo £300. I hope he knows what he has brought.(years of frustration followed by a really lovelly loco)

I sent him an e-mail, but I think the shock is just settling in, or it will once he starts reading through the drawings. Do start with the motion drawing this will then mean that all the other drawings stay in the envelope.
