Some time ago I enabled the calendar section for all registered members, but very few of you appear to have posted dates in there. Is it working OK for all of you? Please do add things there if you feel that our members would appreciate knowing of them.
You get there by clicking on the calendar icon in the top black bar.
Thanks

Hi Andy,
I have just had a look at the calendar - for the first time! I was amazed to find out that it lists my birthday. I will be expecting lots of presents!
Seriously I am not sure that listing people's birthdays is a proper thing to be doing.
What do others think?
Cheers,
Roger Mason, in St. Agnes.

Hi Andy and Roger,
I think the Calendar is a great asset, but only if people add to it.
As for birthdays, I have no problems with that. Surely, if a member is unhappy, then he/she can just delete their birthday details from their member bio? I belong to a travel site, where members' birthdays are displayed, and I've never read in their forums that anyone is concerned about it.
Regards from Bodmin Moor.

As you may realise there is only a limited amount of customisation that I can do on these boards - the basic framework is provided by proboards and they set the feature set. I don't have a way to remove the calendar displaying birthdays, so if you don't want yours displayed, delete it in your profile.
