Hi Ace, How far have you got with the 'Project' a friend has just completed 2 in my club he found them challaging after building 5" Gauge. We also have another chap just completed an N1 Tank engine based on the project. If you need more surpliers for parts I know some. I know the owner of 'Justtheticket' you will probably find he will not answer emails or the phone

Hi Spamcanman
with regards to my loco not much further than before, partly due to my work. But I have unwrapped it and I am contemplating re-doing the chassis frames as I'm not that happy with them, remembering that I bought this as a part built project and the axle bushes are a bit loose in the frames and some holes are not quite in line. I was struggling a little bit with the regulator but finely managed to sort it. So when my lathe is up and running I will resume work on the loco.
Thanks for the warning, it looked a good site. Yes if you could let me know of a good supplier, as this is my first ever loco and have only ever built stationary engines before, a helping hand with parts would be nice. ;D ;D

Spamcanman.
I have a boiler, it came as part of the sale. It looks to be OK and is all soldered up with bushes etc. I made the cylinder and slide valve etc but have yet to see if it works. (posted pics on this section G1) The wheels are done and are on the chassis except the middle ones as I am still working on the crank. If I can I will take a photo of the lot and let you see what I've done.
Cheers for the list, I have used Maccsteam before and found them to be good and postage is prompt.

G1MRA's AGM is this weekend in Woking anybody with an interest in Gauge 1 this is the best show to go absolutely anything can be got, there are many trade stands that only do this event so it's a must go to for gauge1.
