I think STW have only got certain parts in stock but will gradually build it up over time.
Have you looked at Station Road Steam recently, he has a couple of sets of castings and steel boilers one for a 4" foster and another for a 3" B6 Fowler thats bigger than MJ's 3"A7.
Hopefully before xmas there will be the launch of a 3" 8nhp engine that again will be bigger than MJ's 3" A7 Fowler and easier to build( not sure if I should say anymore so you will have to wait & see)

i emaild STW and they said- The boiler is included. We now do it as kit 06 which is the boiler deposit and then kit 12 & 13 which is two payments for the boiler

Andrew In answer to your question, no it isn't possible to sit on the back of the 4" Tasker. Because the prototypoe was small, the Tasker in 4" is about the same size as a Burrell 3". It weighs about 4cwt (OK, 200kg). Its a nice engine to build, which I did, until some ****** stole it when it was 90% complete. You will need access to some fairly substantial machinery to build it though.

I have decided not to do the tasker now, as it requires all the parts machined etc. I think the steam traction world burrell is what i should get, all machined
