HAHA
I dont blame you for not wanting to make patterns. ;D
I know that most times when i want somethign obscure from a supplier i order it a few weeks inadvance. It is the only way because i cant expect him to keep a wigwong for a gooses bridal until i want one.
We are in a mugs game you know....there just aint may people like us!

Hi Peter Have you made a final decision yet? You are always welcome to come and look at my Alcocks Jubilee if it helps (Sussex). I am experiencing delays from most casting suppliers so try to plan well in advance whichever one you choose. Foolishly i am building yet another Jubilee but this will be a quick one, for little more than the price of materials I managed to buy a set of Winsons kits for their Jubilee. This is NOT a kit and every part needs some work but will make an acceptable Jubilee when finished. There are possibly more of these available if you make a few enquiries. Regards, Paul.

Ian, Thanks for message. My drawings arrived yesterday so I feel a little bit better. But am still concerned about the number of forum members experiencing long castings delivery times. I am tending towards Leander, even if it's less true to prototype - a safer choice as there are two suppliers. I am certainly NOT into making patterns - want a chance of finishing the thing during my lifetime! Peter H Are you still around? Did you end up building this engine?

Hi steamtrainfiend,
Peter Hale has not been logged-in on-line here for five years since Mar 15, 2018. Of course he may have been here subsequently without logging in, but .......
