Hi I would welcome any advice on brazing torches, I can braze at the moment with the torch I have but it spends most of the time heating up the surrounding areas. I see that Screwfix. B&Q ect sell torches with different outputs, should I simply go for the "hottest" along with the recommended gas as they advertise or are there other considerations that I am not aware of. I am not going to braze large areas.Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Hi. In 'General Chat' there is a recent thread on 'Brazing torches for boilers' which may help. Cheers JB

I'm using two Sievert torches bought from these guys : myworld.ebay.co.uk/hamiltongasproductsltd/They are cheaper than Machine Mart for the PPMX set and also do the bigger burners - buy all the same time and they combine postage. No connection just a satisfied customer. Cheers Bryan
