I have found an Astra L4 milling machine which on Lathes.co.uk its described as being able to take a vertical head, the one I have looked at the over arm is only about half the height of the ones shown on the above website, can anyone enlighten me as to if there are two models of L4 I have email Tony at Lathes and am awaiting a reply. The person assures me its a L4 can anyone help or have a user manual for a L4 that I could have sight of. There was a vertical head on ebay but it definitely looked to big for the machine I have seen.
