Does anyone knowwhat lathe had 2 Mod changegears, 25mm bore, 20mm thick, set in fours?.... The banjo has a pair of parallel slots and is about a foot long.... I've acquired with some other stuff and am interested in finding out.... Tony at lathes.co.uk suggested Harrison, but I thought all postwar big Harrisons had gearboxes and these don't seem to have metric conversions...
The big vice is off a 10-12" shaper and is a two-men-grunting job to shift... it's been well used but there's tons of life in it.... bit big for my Simplimill though.....

OK, well the general theory is that the changegears are off a divciding head. THe ratios sound about right for a standard Aciera set (or several standard Aciera sets) adn the dual-parallel-slot banjo's the are with them would also be more likely to be dividing head than lathe. I'm going to have a sort through but from memory there ought to be two complete sets in there, so is anyone else interested in a set of Dividing head gears with a banjo?.... Probably looking around the 100 quid mark including courier postage.
PS if no-one is interested in the vice does anyone know what they go for 2nd hand?.... I want to know if it's worth storing it (in case I get a big machine in the future) or whether to sell it ...
