Does anyone know of any night schools that cover Model Engineering / Metalwork. I live in Chatham Kent so would need to be within reasonable traveling distance, or some one who would take me under their wing for a while.

A group of model engineers meet on a Thursday night during term time between 1800-2100 hrs at Bromley Technical College. Call 020 8293 7000 ext 7197 for actual address.
The College has 9 lathes, 3 milling machines, sheet metal working machinery, etc.. Once checked out on their operations you are free to use them.

Well I know this doesn't answer the original query, but North East Worcestershire College runs a class at Bromsgrove on Tuesdays. New members would be welcome.
