Hi all
Just pondered over my inability to come up with copies of this years ME No's 4246 & 4248 for another thread. How do others store and manage to locate issues? Not locating which issue as far as searching for an article because of the excellent databases available, but finding the actual issue without trouble off the shelves. Be interested to find out so that I might be able to acheive the same.
Best wishes to you all
Brian

Brian, i keep mine in a cupboard (bulkhead, over top of stairs), ifitted shelves and they are all in order, from 1945, with some earlier. i can usually find what i'm looking for in a matter of a few minutes.(no i am not super efficient).

Well I'm releived about that! My thoughts were how do you actually know where an issue is although they are in number order. Do you have them standing up or laid flat? Do you have any method to distinguish the volume numbers? Seems a pretty simple topic but to keep them in good order requires some thought - at least for me! Thanks for the reply. Brian

they are kept stood up just like in a bookcase , numbered left to right, ifind it fairly easy to just look at the top left corner and then i have a clue where to go next. Give it a try if an old codger like me can do it you should be able to.
