Holiday Running/Events

I'm not certain if this is better here or on the Clubs' bit. Feel free to cross post (or hey just delete it!).

I'd be glad to know of places that are running over the holiday period or other events happening then. Others may too.

With the wind behind (and Erin says I have plenty of that) I hope to get along to Sandown and if Colchester have a Boxing Day run (Mott?) there too. Might bring a quondam pop star to Colchester's run if permitted (and not too seasoned to drive).

I'd appreciate knowing of any other events in case the leash is long enough to allow me to attend elsewhere.

Probably too late but, The Langford and Beeliegh (miniature) Railway at the Steam Pumping Station at Langford (Nr Maldon) Essex ran today 10/12/05 and will be running tommorow Sunday 11/12/05. 1100 to 1600. We may well get the toys out on New years day as well.

Seeing the viffer mentioning running days, as far as I am aware, Colchester will be running their usual Boxing day steam up.

And I'm certain that Burton MES will be having a steamup between Christmas and New Year.......but I can't remember when!
