I've got a bunch (prolly 20 feet or so) of 1/4" OD 40 thou (or thereabouts) wall thickness seamless 316L stainless tube..... would this stuff be suitable for superheaters? If so at what sort of scale? Otherwise would an 8 foot length of it make a sensible flash steam boiler?

I've got an expensively made radiant superheater for a Maid of Kent made of it which I hope will be in service next year. Reeves also sold me some for a superheater for an 8" diameter vertical boiler which is now so big I can't get enough heat into to progress.

Many thanks,
I'll have a look at using a single length of it for a flash generator, given the wall thickness I expect it to ber a bit of a brute to bend.... IIRC I've got a couple of 3m (just under 10 feet) lengths so I'll try one of them .... plan is to make a flash steam powered Tesla turbine, major hassle ATM is is sorting out something to be the turbine housing.... anyone got a short length of 3" seamless stainless pipe with at least 10g walls?
