Hi All,
Seasons Greetings to all who read this list.
Today has dawned a wonderful clear, but cold, day - just right for a walk to the beach!
Cheers,

And the same to you Roger and all the board members. The sun splitting the trees up here as well, might go out for a sunbathe later. But that would mean I would need to go through the kitchen, hmm better I just lie low here with the ‘puter’ till the stress levels plateau out

Good Morning, Roger and Tim, And to everyone else too! We have thick fog on Bodmin Moor, not really much like Christmas weather. Turkey's in the oven, and I'm wearing my Festive hat, haha. A very Happy Christmas to you all, and everything you ever asked for in the New Year. Geoff, in God's Wonderful Region

Merry Xmas again It's nice to read messages from GWR land as I myself come from Falmouth. I now live in Jersey but go back home at least once a year, in fact it was only a few months ago that I was camping at Beacon farm in St. Agnes. It was Wheel Coats that inspired me to build my last model, a stuart beam engine. That being finished I am now on the next model, this time it's a loco. (still waiting for the castings to arrive from Blackgates). All the best for the new year Garry

Good morning to you Garry,
Well, Boxing Day here on Bodmin Moor is bright and very frosty. We can see the vapour trails of the jets returning to the UK, and know that the passengers are in for a bit of a shock, returning from Landsagrottie and other warm places.
We will have to call on you when we eventually visit Jersey, to examine your beam engine, and celebrate your success with a jar or two, LOL!
Have a great Boxing Day everyone. It's too bl***y cold for me to do anything outside today, haha.

Belated seasons greetings to you all from Scotland, weather clear cold and frosty with a bit of mist yesterday. Santa was good to me, brought me a nice set of castings for a ST horizontal engine to keep me out of mischief ;D and a couple of bottles of Isle of Jura to get me into mischief , hope he was kind to you all. Hi Garry,
You said: ... I now live in Jersey We visited there this year - for the first time. Esther is into orchids and we had to visit the orchid place there - an amazing place.
... in fact it was only a few months ago that I was camping at Beacon farm in St. Agnes. Isn't that the place run by John Sawle, who owns a full-sized traction engine, as well as a special car built from a Reliant Robin, and has been very instrumental in getting the working full-sized model of Trevithick's engine produced. He was also in charge of the steam powered motor-bike challenge at the local traction engine rally this year. Next time you are this way get in touch and we can meet up.
Cheers,
Roger Mason, in St. Agnes.
