Yes the Super Simplex axle pump is superb as is the locomotive! If this was industry Simplex would have been discontinued and Super Simplex built instead! I have Martins double acting on my Hunslet and it shifts some water on all strokes!
Fowler Complex now on the display table in our model tent at Stoke Row Steam Rally RG8 7PU. Can we build her in 2 months including drawings and modifications?

Ideally an axle pump set would comprise of two double acting pumps, timed in phase with the cylinders

Hi, I use a double acting hand pump in my Stirling solely because I got those castings with all the others, there was however a clarksons drawing which helped. It’s a heavy beast with a 3/4” ram but fills the boiler in about 20 strokes. Will try and find a photo Cheers Q
