Someone will have to put something in here. So a few pics of my first loc. And a bad movie of it running around towing a brick: media.putfile.com/eerste-rit

It looks fine enough if you don't look too close No larger versions are planned because incompatible with the garden. Can't help you with the browser problem. I know mine doesn't want to show it because some codec or player missing, but I'm too lazy to look for that.

Hi Guys,
Nice model, and I had no browser difficulties. The brick chasing your loco looked great fun! ;D

Havoc that is fantastic!
This looks like a pretty straightforward oscillator with the flywheel on the opposite side of the loco frame to balance things up. What's the situation with the crankshaft? How are the wheels driven?

Wow, What fun, can you build it in 5" ? far quicker than a large prairie and 6,990 less holes to drill. David Scott.

LBSC descibed in a single issue how to make 'Myrtle' a beginner's 'O' gauge loco: ME 5 July 1956 p32. (NB moderators, since this is 51 years' old I think it is outside copyright, but will remove if neccessary) MM

The plans on the net are for 32mm track (0 gauge) and the ones I have are for 45mm track (gauge 1). If you want the plans for the 45mm version, send a PM. I bought the gears as well at Conrad www.conrad.com/ . There are other shops, just look/ask around in model building shops. I have no intention to master gear cutting unless no other way out. Had some fun with it last weekend. It will pull 6-8 LGB 4-axle cars without trouble on a flat track.

Cheers Havoc
I would like to build the larger size, could you send me a copy of the plans to my email address. Did you experience any difficulty in obtaining any parts or are they easy to come by.
