Shawki, 40/50 miles cross country in Scotland is a completely different ball game from OZ or the USA for that matter, especially if you don't like driving, it's probably the equivalent of 2/300 miles. Unfortunately we had a local club but it died the death years ago due to lack of interest and the advancing age of the membership. Ron

I'm aware of an independant boiler inspector based in the Midlands called Graham Morris. For any one who is interested, his company is Graham Morris Engineering and his number is 01327 872148. Usual things apply, he is nothing to do with me or my company etc etc etc, except that I and one of my colleagues have used him previously and found him a great help not only with the boiler inspection but also some sound engineering advice.

I understand Ron ,I lived in Scotland for two years ( Perth ) 1960/1961 . I was trying to explain the benefits of clubs . Driving in sydney is not cross country any more . Start a new club ,the need is the mother of invention .
