I think you can delete this duplicate post if you go to the Gear Wheel icon to the right of the post, I believe it's an option there.

Welcome to the site. An R class is a nice loco and would be a very welcome and interesting addition to the build threads on the site, looking forward to seeing some photos. Do you belong to Illawarra Live steamers on the south coast?

Hi Gary, OK, this is what I do with Flickr images....
1) Go to the Flickr image so it's showing the large photo on the screen 2) On the bottom RH corner below the image there's a share arrow, click that. 3) Make sure BBCode is the link that's being highlighted, it usually is by default. 4) There's a whole load of highlighted text that's the link you need, so use Ctrl+C to copy that to the clipboard. 5) Start with Quick reply and hit return a few times to make a space and then use Ctrl+V to paste the link to the page. At this stage you can't see the picture. 6) If you want to embed multiple pictures then hit return a few more times to make space and repeat the process. 7) Now you have the pictures embedded, hit the Reply button on the top right of the Quick Reply window and hey presto, the pictures are visible. 8) With the spaces you've created between the images, go back and type what you want to say.
There may be other ways to do this, but that's what I do.

A picture of the R-Class Tender build not yet complete all the front detail to finish the tender is for the oil burning loco R719 the R710 was when I was going to make a coal fired loco but as there was only 2 built I thought it was a good idea to build something different T7 by Gary Gillam, on Flickr T1 by Gary Gillam, on Flickr T5 by Gary Gillam, on Flickr

That's an interesting truck design, looks like it has a couple of tilting rockers rather than a thrust pad to take the load?

G'day all Thanks for the wellcom Shawki, the method i used for setting out the centers to suit the castings care had to be taken in the marking out process as i already made a paper weight 1st time round ,the castings were made from patterns that were to close to scale the were modeled of the original drawings not enough material for easy machining cylinder1 by Gary Gillam, on Flickr I decided to bore between centers as i was not confident of using the mill due to possible flex in the boring bar when boring for the piston valve as the length was 4.25" .in the end they turned out ok cylinder 2 by Gary Gillam, on Flickr Adjusting the final few passes cylinder3 by Gary Gillam, on Flickr
