Greetings to you all,
I have a vague memory of a detailed description of this system being published in one of "our" magazines, but a search of the indexes available doesn't show anything.
I have seen parts on show at midlands ME show.
Is old age creeping up on me, or have details been published?
regards Brian

Hi Brian,
I remember visiting the old Nottingham club site north of the city centre near the hospital. Anything not vandal proof was removed. I dont remember any signalling. The new site at Ruddington linked with the GCR does not appear to have any form of manual signalling, and certainly had no signals when I visited in the late 1990s and being completed.
pault's close association with the Great Cockrow Railway at Chertsey - ground level 7.25"g - has perhaps the most impressive manual signalling. The Ascot club has perhaps the best 5"g groundlevel signalling that I remember.
Cheers, Julian

Nottingham SME member John Lopez designed a set of laser cut compents to make a lever frame, which was on show at the midlands exhibition, if I remember correctly it was destined for a signal box to control a branch off the ground level track at Ruddington. We at Lincoln MES went to Ruddington to see the frame and subsequently bought sufficient components to make 2 frames for our track. We got John to incorporate a modification to the main lever component to provide an extension arm below the pivot to allow us to drive a mechanical interlocking tray under the frame.

Thank you Julian for you suggestions, as I remember at G. Cockow, they use either full size levers, or ex Br Westinghouse small lever frames, which is exactly what we want to install at Parklands Railway, Hemsby, but they are all but unobtainable now.
Chris B, you have hit the spot, with a contact name as well. I shall try to contact John to see if he can supply the parts or CAD files.
Regards to you both. Brian
