Yesterday my Newton Tesla speed control, for the quill head on my mill, died. I suppose I can't complain. I think I bought it in 2002 and it gets used constantly. Anyway, I telephoned them at about 3pm yesterday, to order a replacement. I told them what had happened, but expected to have to wait at least a couple of days for it to be packed and despatched. It arrived at around 3.30pm today, carriage free. They will also have a look at the duff one to see if they can fix it so that I can keep it as a spare unit. Now that really is 'Super Service'. I've got my mill working again 25 hours after it stopped working. They even threw in a new, expensive, motor plug as they thought mine might be the old design. It was, so that helped greatly.
