Mike is famous for his descriptions: he's excelled himself this time! BTW I have a new, unused identical steam pump in my workshop right now. Does anyone know the make/origin? John

Pretty certain the pump is of LBSCs design, I think it appeared in Shop Shed and Road book. GLR Kennions do castings for a very similar design

John I looks like an LBSC duplex style pump. GLR still sell castings, and a write up is in the Live Steam Book

A strange world of modelling where one branch is carefully sanding rust in various shades of metal and iron, and another branch are carefully collecting and dusting on a weathered and run down Industrial layout of the O Gauge variety.
Yes Mikes descriptions are superb and if you are ever bored one night he has compiled THE ARCHIVE. This contains every piece, bit, thing, creation, how the ^*+"! does that ever work, and some superb Locomotives they have ever sold. Some having many photos from every angle possible. Yes I bought a part built Jessie with Mikes WHEEL PROBLEM. Easy fix. The Conway's I have seen do go well as do Hunslets. But if you do start looking at Industrials they all had to do similar work and began to all look the same. Bit like the Girls from China he jokes.
Love from David and Lily.
