Some time ago on the old site there was some disscussion as the merits of Hamerite and using it in a spray gun. I've used a couple of cans of smooth black on some passenger car bogies and it seems to be standing up well but spray cans are an expensive method. I've got the Hamerite product handout (folded A4) but there is no mention of a thinners. Is there one? if not has anyone used something else.
Cheers
Steamjohn.

There is a thinners. Most of the stockists of Hammerite should also keep it, but the biggest problem is price. It is quite a lot dearer than the paint.
I dont think it is sufficiently special to make me use it, at that price, instead of an ordinary enamel / cellulose.
