Hallo
LMS used to have a 20 Ton Trolley flat wagon. Can anybody supply some pictures or a hint where to find them? Thanks Johannes

Hi Johannes THer are some good books on wagons about try "An Illustrated History of LMS Wagons - Volume 1 and 2", by R.J.Essery . Can you give us any more detail about the wagon you are looking for? Is it 4 wheel or does it have bogies? Does it have bolsters? A lot of railways didnt make their own wagons so there is quite a bit of comonality between some types. Dave Nobel is a wagon fan try contacting him at www.davenoble.co.ukAndy

Hi Johannes,
The only thing to watch out for with this wagon is that it has a very long fixed wheelbase without bogies. This will mean that, if you run on tight curves, it will tend to have quite a lot of friction because the axles will be at quite an angle to the rail and will tend to drive the flanges onto the rail.
Chris.

Hi I was thinking of this wagon so far this is the only foto I've found. I am thinking of building this in 5". Johannes That looks identical to a Midland design, its either a Midland built but LMS ownership, or LMS built to the Midland design. I'll have a look for what I've got.
