As per the title I am looking for a set of drawings for a GWR Hall class locomotive in seven and a quarter inch gauge. So far I've had no luck searching on the internet so thought I would see if anyone here can point me in the right direction.
Any help, info or leads greatly appreciated.

Stuart.....
Just seen this.... How will you get it round the curves? ;D
I know where there is a part built 7 1/4" King down our way which seems to have come to a stop...

Thank you very much for the link Matt. I had missed this one. It looks like I will be making enquiries with Polly Model Engineering. Vaporista - Damn, I think you're right. I would probably have to get rid of a lot of wheel flanges and attach the front bogie with a couple of feet of string in order to persuade this around my 15 foot curves. That's ruined another fine plan. Actually this one's not for me. I believe there is talk of a new club in the grounds of a garden centre or nursery somewhere near Milan, but use of the site for a railway is conditional on having Harry Potter's "Hogwarts Express" Stuart

There is a 7 1/4" Hall that runs at Echills Wood Railway. Not sure who built it, might be worth a try dropping them a line for info www.freewebs.com/echillsrailwayobserver/index.htm Keith Wilson used to build 7 1/4" large GWR locos for sale. I don't think he ever sold drawings or castings though You could alway do what Hornby does and use a Castle Class in it's Harry Potter sets.... But then I don't know of a Castle Class drawing in 7 1/4" either..

I have a complete set of Peter Rich's Castle drawings in 5" - again you could scale them up easily. They are super detailed (should be at the price! worth it though) and would provide you with all the information you'd need.
Cheers

Thanks for all the offers of help guys. I am making enquiries on behalf of somoene else so need to speak with them first before arriving at any kind of a decision.
I was pondering though, seeing as this is for the benefit of the Italian general public, that probably just about any British looking 4-6-0 loco painted the right colour and with a "Hogwarts Express" plate on the front would probably fit the bill. ;D

Hi Stuart,
I'm not that conversant with GWR locos but weren't the original Halls just a Saint with smaller driving wheels? I mention this because Keith Wilson described the construction of a 7ΒΌ" Saint in Model Engineer in 2000 (volume 184 onwards)

Stuart
If you don't manage to get yourself sorted with a proper set of drawings and wish to 'scale up' some existing ones on CAD, contact me I might be able to help.
