Affraid I can't help but am curious...and I reading it right that this injector preheats the water? If so that's very interesting...

Not exactly models but the Romney locos have Penberthy injectors, either 3/8 or ½ depending on driver preference. I’ve never seen drawings of them and as they are still commercially available I’m guessing they won’t be easy to find. Oh and don’t believe the bit about them being cheap. The last time I looked at buying some they were about £900 each
They can be used in processes to supply hot water at atmospheric pressure rather than to feed a boiler as we do. It can also be used to heat water being fed into a boiler where the pressure is provided by another means.

I do have some Penberthy injector drawings.
From the chaski forum site I recall something about Penberthy had gone out of business a few years ago.

Unfortunately, the datasheet diagrams are insufficiently detailed to see how it works.
