Hi, I am new here and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to obtain the drawings for Roger Marsh's Tinkerbell. I have seen several references around the net to drawings and castings being available but have not yet found out from where. Any ideas would be most welcome. Thanks in advance, David.

Thanks for that, I have emailed them about drawings so fingers crossed. If anyone else knows please let me know. If I track them down I will post the details here.

Fincken Miniature Railways used to supply Tinkerbelle drwgs but I'm not sure if they are still on the go. It has been rumoured that Maxitrak may be doing the drwgs as they now list Greenly drwgs which were also previously done by Fincken. You could always ask on the 7 1/4" society site.
Hope this helps

You could always contact Moors Valley Railway, where they have several Tinkerbells. Someone there is sure to know.

I just had a look on the Maxitrack site and they have a section "Greenly Archive" in this section there is a sub header "Marsh Drawings" but not much detail so it might be worth sending them a mail to see what they do.

Thanks chrisb, I have sent a mail on the off chance. I had seen they list one of Roger Marsh's designs but no mention of Tinkerbell. What does seem strange to me is after a chat with a friend at the weekend, I now have a phone number of a chap who is building a batch of Tinkerbell boilers. Obviously I will give him a call to see if he knows where to find the drawings, but its seems odd that boilers and castings should be available but yet no one knows where to get the drawings.

No Problem, hope it is of use.
If you are the same person I think you are, we spoke at the Lincs MES gala regarding the former owner of a full size lorry with the same paint job as your model.

Hi Chris Yes we probably did have a chat at Lincoln although I am struggling to put a face to the name at the moment. Spoke to so many at that event. There are some pics of my lorry in the non steam section of the forum if you want to make sure.
Good news folks. Drawings located. As Chris suggested they are part of the Greenly archive and are held by Maxitrak. I had a very nice email from Alex Probyn of Maxitrak informing me that at the moment they have not as yet had the chance to sort through everything. Tinkerbell is there and will be available within a few weeks after they have finished sorting through all thats there. Thanks to all that have posted, its good to know people will help each other out especially in this day and age.
David.
