Reminds me of a (very) old joke:
When I was in China years ago, I was in a cinema, waiting for the film to start, when all the lights went out, plunging the place into darkness. The whole Chinese audience sprung up, and began to waive their hands in the air, and the lights came back on. Then I remembered the old saying: "Many hands make light(s) work" ;D ;D ;D
Dohhh!!!

I guess we are naturally a bit reticent about this, as the guy is saying up front, give me £6200 and I will build this for you. If we allow for £1200 for materials then £4000 may seem a bit steep for a months work, but maybe if overheads are properly considered and that his speed of production is high, then maybe it is not as bad. He has sold a lot of orreries for £225 a shot, to places like US, Germany, Australia, and everyone is happy with them. He has also sold a 'Tractor Locomotive' (!) for £370 and again, the buyer is satisfied. I suppose by trying to make a living from his M.E. hobby he is doing what many of us can only dream of. So good luck to him I say!
