Have just logged in to find new "layout" for the forum. On old layout I used option of "find posts since last visit" (not exactly sure of precise wording, but something along these lines). Can't see this option now - has it disappeared for good? Am I missing something? Regards, A

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
What was so wrong with the old MECH that it had to be changed? Even the avatars are a bit wierd, looking like sci-fi aliens!

I'm not going to be bothered to look at each forum separately, I liked all the latest stuff from all of them brought together. That angry bear seems to have caused some damage.

Hi I found that my original short cut still worked, if you put modeleng.proboards.com/threads/recentThat seems to work however I can’t find a button that just takes you there. I guess we will get used to it but so far it seem to be no improvement over the old. Regards Paul

Yes, the pictures have gone from my Another Jessie thread in the Images section. An Images thread with no images, this is the way forward.

I have to say that this has made me very unhappy... can't find my build threads and if the pictures are indeed lost why bother to update them further anyway... a very unhappy bunny... Pete Edit: finally found my threads,, search wouldn't work, had to go through page by page...pictures missing except for last few in my lassie thread... when clicking on error pictures s message states 'This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit'. I really hope this is only a temporary problem.

I agree with Pete... Personally I think this new site is the pits, Print too small and poor layout, grotesque avatars for those who don't have one, new posts hard to find and that's for starters What was wrong with the old site? Jim ... I've just discovered that some of the old 'Most Recent' posts can be found under the oddly named "Participated" button at the top right.

I've found it!! On the Home page, scroll down to the "Forum Information and Statistics" section. then look at "Threads and posts" and there it is - the link to "Recent Threads" and another for "Recent Posts".

Same problem with pictures not being there on my dynocar write up. Makes the words a bit pointless when they say thing like you can see the effect on the attached graph. Yep you can get to recent threads (thanks UUU) I just used to click on the link at the top of the page and there they were. Now you have to load home then scroll down click on the link. Don’t you just love progress? This was change for the sake of change with no improvement, in fact it seems to me that it has degraded the user experience.
Regards Paul

This is CARP.
Anagram of Crap.
To us Ozzies, a feral fish which muddies the waters, takes over the habitat of productive species and is no use for anything.

It's the wrong sort of different. Don't like it, can't find the bits I want to find and really really don't like the new edit window.
Why oh why do the young people keep making things that weren't broken broken in a really broken way?
Another unhappy bunny.
Edit: And another thing... anybody know who the alien is to the left of my post?
Also, having to add my date of birth to the server before it would let me in gets another bunch a folk access to the answer to the most frequent security question my banks ask me. (don't tell em I lied).

Well I'm hoping.. no praying that things will be sorted out and that we haven't lost anything including all of our pictures from yesterdays MECH version. that would be a true disaster that's for sure.. still unhappy bunny.. Pete
