I got to say, this tells us one of 2 things. 1. Reeves know that England are crap or 2. Reeves have considerably more than 25% mark up on all stock. Just a thought...... Could be a very good deal though! Ben

They are clearly in cahoots with the England team. Match fixing for sure.

I do hope that the TV channels take the hint and following the "loss" reduce all the cr@py sport coverage accordingly. They could also save our valuable TV licenses fees in the next couple of weeks by not wasting it on Wimbledon or the Commonwealth games.
But then if there was something worth watching on TV I wouldn't be feeling so encouraged to be out in the workshop. I am at a lost as to who they think is actually watching this stuff and they are wasting all our money with.
Please: Can I get a refund on my license fee as I feel cheated with all this c**p low grade sport ? Roll on pay per view TV!!!!!

Do what I did Jo and get rid of the TV. Haven't had one for about 10 years now and certainly don't miss it. The problem is that it's not been possible to go to the pub for a drink without getting it rammed down your throat John

Jo Jo you have obviously been spoilt over the years by having too many good TV programs that you have become disenchanted. We watch the UK TV programs when shown on Oz TV in preference to others because we think that they are the best in the world for entertainment and innovation. But I might add there is no TV licence requirements in Australia. Brian

Going back to the original posting and 'offer', I conclude that it is all a gimmick and that Reeves 'needs' the money- or is it their bank? The internet, such as it is, is full of similar so called offers of 'summat for nowt' or what we need( like a boil on the back of the neck)
For those whose education was channelled elsewhere( pun intended), sales are in a direct relationship to the amount spent on advertising.
Sadly, most of us experienced 'propaganda'- or brain washing, carefully used. Our Josef Goebbels did it so well and those who are old enough to remember- get free TV. It's odd but true. I get free TV.I get free medicine, free medical treatment and eyesight tests. I missed out on earlier offers of false teeth and wigs but I do get free bus transport- if I can walk far enough to a bus stop.
I had the 'French boite' on last night, It's nice to see how another bit of the infirmament lives. The weather forecast came on courtesy of some supplier of smelly goats' cheese. With the forecast of 35 degrees today, the smell can be only imagined. |So we turned back to 'Yesterday' and enjoyed 'Last of the Summer Wine' or part of it. I'd succumbed to Tesco's ad for a £10 dinner for two with a bottle of vino collapso at £7 odd a bottle which meant that we got three dishes for two for 50p each.
Now this has to be a bargain- not to be missed- and the reason why people are queuing up at Sangatte to share with us.
I'll get me coat- if someone hasn't nicked it

Gone up from 75p- now that Spain has Two kings! Salud-pesetas Don Norman
