Can anyone tell me if there is any information available about boilers built by R Chambers several years ago. One of our members has a boiler made by Mr Chambers but he has no original test certificate. Thanks.

The quick answer is, no there isnt.
AFAIK, he died some years ago,but his boilers were well made and he had an excellent reputation.
You will see lots of his adverts in ME in the 1970's era.
Were I still testing boilers, I would have no doubts regarding the quality of the original workmanship.

My Manor boiler was built by Roy Chambers, in 1985, and what an excellent steamer it still is, superbe quality, and if I recollect correctly it was delivered about three weeks after placing the order.
