Terry 1956
Single handle valve handles are easy to make, A piece of round brass turned down to the boss diameter, drilled for the valve spindle, then using half round brass beading form it round the diameter and pinch it with a pair of pliers till it looks like a split pin, carefully silver solder it to the boss material, making sure the solder flows all around the circumference and along the two halve of the brass beading, cut the handle to whatever length you require, it could then be threaded to accept a tufnol or wooden handle, finish off by parting off then file the hole square. Easier to do than describe.

Hi Terry, have a look at GS Supplies website. They list GWR valves with tufnol handles under globe valves in their boiler parts section. Mwfanwy
