If it was a loco, the first thing you'd ask about would be the condition of the boiler, wouldn't it, so I suppose that must be asked about the first one at least. That looks like a Stuart 10V, pretty common, so I suppose if its in working order, I'd expect it to go for around £400 on ebay?
With the second one, what does the plate on the base say? If its in working order, I'd guess around £200, depends who made it and how old and rare it is.

Hi Richard and thanks for replying..........Yes, that's a basic 10v with a displacement lubricator...The boiler is sound and comes with a gas firing circular burner.. All works well..............My rough pricing was}--£150 for the 10v, £100 for the boiler/burner and £100 for the rest ( total at £350 )so we're in the approx. same area................. The second item is an SEL Major 1550 with a mini-surface lubricator... Recently an engine unit alone went for £35 on E-Bay but I feel this was undersold...........Again, my rough pricing was}----£50 for the engine, £50 for the boiler and £50 for the provenance.........giving a rough total of £150..This also works well.......................... These are both up for sale if anyone is interested ?? ( Can deliver in Midlands area at £5 per 40 miles, one way )..........UPDATE}---- Burner is missing............
