Does anybody know if it possible to purchase decent BA size washers? You can get 'one size smaller' bolts at the corner shop (almost), but the washers I have are massive with such an oversize hole that they sit way off center. In some cases it is possible to use the next size down or drill them out, but I have 10BA bolts with 12BA heads, and I don't fancy trying to drill out about 50 12 BA washers to suit. Jeff

Hi Jeff, this is a difficulty I too am having, as I tried to find a supplier of odd sized washers , but ended up with making them. All the best, John.

After having difficulty finding the exact washer that I needed I now use my fly-press and make my own , I bought it for its £10 scrap value and would not part with it for £100. Abby.

Thanks., I guess I will have to make them, in the past I have made a housing with a bore to take about 20 washers of the correct OD with a capnut to clamp in place, then drill through to take the bolt size needed, once you have made it you have it to reuse, but you have to have one for each size washer.
