Hi Simon, Sure I can do a hi res scan but it looks as though I can do a bmp, jpg, tiff or pdf. Are any of these any good? Which is best for you? What is a png when it is at home? Chris. Hi Chris, From Wikipedia; PNG (Portable Network Graphics) is a bitmapped image format that employs lossless data compression. PNG was created to improve and replace the GIF format, as an image-file format not requiring a patent license. The pdf option is possibly the best as both .tif and .bmp will be huge files and possibly too big to email. Its strange you dont have the option of .gif as this is a widely used format but .png does seem to be replacing it. A common source online for .png is mapping images, anything with fine coloured lines on pale backgrounds as there is no bleeding of colour. The .jpg files will be fine for text but high res drawings are lost with .jpg as it blurs due to the amount of compression it uses. Thankyou for your trouble.
