Hi All
Currently making the above freelance loco by david Giles in NZ,i need to make the chimney and it is a typical american style large spark arrest type,i have drawings but it suggests getting castings, now New Zealand is a long way away from the UK and i was wondering if anybody had any experience of making such an item and maybe could point me on my way?
Cheers

Without a picture it's difficult to say, but I'm guessing it's the big conical arrestor? It can be developed on a plate and rolled into a cone it if is.

I built an American engine and used a casting for the the big chimney , I can't remember who sold me the casting , there must be someone who can supply them .
