Hi all , this post is not about chucks it's about Chuck the muddle engineer , I know this is a long shot but I have been trying to get a scan of the cartoon which used to appear in ME . In one episode Chuck built an automatic machine for building loco's , needless to say, his idea was a disaster but I would desperately like a copy, or if anyone knows when it appeared I would be grateful.

John I downloaded indices from here:- www.colinusher.info/Indexes/index.htmlI have to admit searching on 'Chuck' gave me a lot of hits but 'muddle engineer' which is his official title was more productive. As a complete aside, the book, The Model Locomotive from Scratch is excellent. Andy

G'day all.
Good book but IMO the "Sweet Pea" book is more likely to get you out in the workshop. Great cartoons though.
Regards, Ian
