Something interesting to read (in German though, but with 100s of informative pictures). My friend Mario runs a small (1 man) company and he develops kits for popular German Locos. I do build the prototypes (BR74 in 5" and BR38, P8 in 7.25"). The locos are then built as shared projects by a number of people in Germany. These 'kits' are not just parts to be bolted together! BR74 was the main loco of the Berlin S-Bahn before it was converted to electric traction. BR38, also known as the Prussian P8, was very popular in passenger traffic until the 1960s. To me it looks so strangely similar to a B1. You can look over my shoulder at www.berliner-eisenbahn.de/Then click Baubeschreibungen Br74 or Baubeschreibungen P8 and select a chapter. We have designed the locos to be built by plain people possibly with 2 left hands and simple tools. This is why my own ongoing log is detailed and public. I even show my mistakes... Have fun looking Johannes

Andy Like a politician, I cannot confirm or deny, but it really sounds logical to have a BR52 as a followup, OK? More than 7000 of these monsters were built during the war in an insane effort ... and knocked out by Allied fighter bombers, equally efficient. Once the next loco has been decided, I'll let you people know. However, I'd be afraid of the effort to write a bilingual story. ;D Johannes
