Just want to introduce the club. The CTSMEE was formed back in 1907 in the Cape Town city hall and is still going after 109 years. We have a club house in Rondebosch a suburb of Cape Town, We get together every Wednesday night from 8 pm. Visit our facebook page for more details.

Spent many a happy and misspent hour in the Pig and Whistle just up the road. I should have looked harder for other attractions! Looks like a nice club.

Went to Cape Town in 2002 to watch rugby, a number of years before getting into this hobby.
Absolutely loved it there. I recall a very nice meal at a place called Theo's (in Camps Bay I believe) and a drive to the vineyards.
Nice to hear you have a club there. Can't think of many things better than a steam up in that part of the world.

Visited Cape Town in 2010 and spent an afternoon at The Western Province Live Steamers. Didn't know you guys were about, next time I will be sure to drop by.
